Public Local Inquiry into the A5 Western Transport Corridor Road Scheme
The inquiry will re-open at 10:30am on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 in the Strule Arts Centre, Townhall Square, Omagh. The inquiry concerns a proposed duel carriageway from Newbuildings to south of Aughnacloy. Additional documents published by the scheme promoter, the Department for Infrastructure, will be discussed. They comprise a new addendum to the environmental statement, updated habitats reports and a notice of intention to vest additional lands.
A mid-inqiury meeting will be held in the Strule Arts Centre at 6:30pm on Tuesday, 15th November 2022 to outline arrangements for the re-opened inquiry and deal with procedural queries. If you wish to take part in the re-opened inquiry, you should attend, or arrange to be represented at, this meeting. There will be no discussion of the merits of the proposed road scheme at the meeting.
