In preparation for go live of the Commission’s new IT system, the facility to make an appeal online will be unavailable after 5pm on Thursday 14th July 2022. It is anticipated that go live will be on 1st August 2022 and the online service will then be available again. The date for go live may be brought forward depending on circumstances but this will not change the date on which the online services will become unavailable.
Appeals can still be submitted via email to info@pacni.gov.uk during this period or by hard copy via post. Please note that appeals must be submitted within the statutory timeframe for the type of appeal as the Commission has no power to extend these timeframes. Appeal fees can be paid by cheque through the post or at reception at our offices, or by cash at reception.
The online appeal search function will also become unavailable from 5pm on Thursday 14th July 2022 until the new IT system goes live. Enquiries about past decisions can be made by sending an email to info@pacni.gov.uk but please note that response times may vary depending on resource and level of demand.
