The Commission has completed its report on the Banbridge Newry and Mourne Area Plan Public Inquiry.
The report was delivered to the Department on 26th March 2012.
Release of the Commission's report is a matter for the Department.
Belfast Metropolitan Area Plan
The Commission has completed its report on the Belfast Metropolitan Area Plan Public Inquiry. The final sections of the report in respect of Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus Districts were delivered to the Department on 31st January 2012.

Draft Northern Area Plan
The Department have requested that the Commission hold a Public Examination into the draft Northern Area Plan 2016.

Planning Appeals - Intake and Output of Decisions
The Commission processes most appeals in the chronological order in which they were submitted and aims to deal with appeals as efficiently as possible.
The Commission is currently considering cases which were received during the following periods:
- Written Representations received up to and including December 2011
- Written Representations with Site Visits received up to and including December 2011
- Informal Hearings received up to and including December 2011
- Formal Hearings received up to and including December 2011
