Commission Report
The Commission delivered its report on Strategic Retail Issues on 21st January 2009.
The report on Strategic Plan Framework was delivered on 31st March 2011.
The Commission delivered its report to the Department on objections in Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh Districts on 15th July 2011.
The Commission delivered its report to the Department on objections to Lagan Valley Regional Park and North Down District on 27th September 2011.
The Commission delivered its report to the Department on objections in Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus Districts on 31st January 2012.
The Commission's report is now complete and has been published by the Department on 7th June 2012.
Objections to Proposed Green Belt and Countryside Policy Area Designations
Following the publication of Planning Policy Statement 21 - Sustainable Development in the Countryside, the Department has confirmed that it intends to withdraw the proposed Greenbelt/Countryside Policy Area designations in draft BMAP. Consequently, objections to these designations will not be considered by the Commission.
