Proposed Retail Development at Buncrana Road, Londonderry
The applicants have requested the Commission to re-arrange a hearing to discuss the Department's notice of opinion to refuse this major planning application.
A second pre-hearing meeting will be held at 6.30pm on Tuesday, 7th May 2013 in the Waterfoot Hotel, 14 Clooney Road, Londonderry.

George Best Belfast City Airport
The Commission has been asked by the Department of the Environment to hold a public inquiry under Article 123 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 into a request by George Best Belfast City Airport for modifications to its planning agreement.
In view of the Department's request to the City Airport for additional information, the inquiry which was programmed to commence in November 2012 has been postponed until further notice.

Draft Northern Area Plan
The Public Examination into the draft Northern Area Plan 2016 was completed on 22nd March 2012 and the Commissioners are working on their report.

What to Expect at an Accompanied Site Visit

Planning Appeals - Intake and Output of Decisions
The Commission processes most appeals in the chronological order in which they were submitted and aims to deal with appeals as efficiently as possible.
